On September 16, 2025, CEHRT Climate Solutions had the privilege of participating in the Ghana-China Climate Summit held at the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat Auditorium in Accra.

The high-level summit, hosted by the Africa-China Centre for Policy & Advisory (ACCPA) with support from the African Climate Foundation, served as a strategic platform for fostering collaboration between Ghana and China on climate action and sustainable development.

The event brought together a diverse mix of policymakers, private sector leaders, civil society actors, development partners, and researchers, all united by a shared commitment to advancing practical solutions to the climate crisis. Discussions centered on key areas such as renewable energy investment, green technology transfer, climate finance, and climate resilience, underscoring the mutual benefits of deepening South-South partnerships in driving low-carbon growth.

CEHRT’s participation reaffirmed its ongoing dedication to building collaborative climate solutions that align with Ghana’s national climate priorities while contributing to global efforts under the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
